DEMCO have nine different landmine detonating systems that can be fitted to core construction equipment machines, such as excavators, dozers, TLB’s and loaders. By utilizing equipment from world renowned suppliers such as Caterpillar, Komatsu and Fiat, with worldwide service and spares facilities, costly down time experienced with custom built machines, is avoided. These core machines are fuel efficient, reliable for thousands of working hours. They are easily disposed of and fetch good resale and prices when contracts are completed. Custom built machines are only able to work in ideal conditions, are difficult to transport and do not come in a range of sizes from which to select the best machine for the job in all environmental conditions.

Coupled to DEMCO’s range of landmine clearing and infrastructural equipment for which the core machines can be used for after landmine clearing, Demco are able to supply the safe, durable and comfortable “Perma Tents”. Apart from accommodation, they can be used for a wide range of needs, such as clinics, schools, storage, etc., and outlast by years conventional tents.

DEMCO have access to test range facilities and experienced personnel who are able to facilitate concept designs and testing.

DEMCO holistic approach to landmine clearing involves rehabilitating dirt roads to sites that are inaccessible to aid organizations such as educationalist, medical and agricultural personnel and others. By rehabilitating the road network, time, money and effort are reduced for all concerned, including communities.

DEMCO designed and manufactures towed road graders that are basic, rugged and reliable, easily and cost effectively maintain access roads on a continual basis. They are ideal as self help aid to communities as they do not require highly skilled mechanic technicians, expensive stock piles of fuel and spare parts.

DEMCO also act and assist as benefactors to the registered S.A.
